the scribe tool is good. there was a bit of a learning curve to keeping it flat and and precise. accuracy is good, just takes a little practice. you lost a star because the pencils you included wereuseless because the lead just feel apart.
Thanks for the review. Those look like the Amazon Basics pencils. Can you see if that is the brand? I'd like to know. Did they break using the 'pencil' holder and a drill or by hand? I know by hand sometimes does that on some pencils.
Haven’t used it much, so we will see how it lasts over time. But overall, super happy with the purchase so far! Love that it fits inside itself and the ease of use.
I’d also love an option to have a different one that holds a marking knife, as when I scribe veneers it’s nice to have the physical line to avoid tear out.
There’s lots of scribe tools but I appreciate the work that went into designing this! It was clearly thought through to be used! Definitely is pretty Bitchin’!
The coolest little kit man! I love it
Great tool for cabinet installers!
My new favorite scribe tool! Very well made and easy to use. Also very accurate. Bought four for our finish carpenters. Great purchase
Received the ultra bitchin' scribe tool kit last week and got the opportunity use it on a large cabinet install today. This thing rocks! The measurements are spot on and it is very easy to use one handed. Near perfect scribes on the first shot each time. Another installer on the crew demanded the link to this product. Can't say enough good things about this simple but extremely effective tool kit.
Not sure if it was intentional, but the case for the kit is almost the size of a cutout for a duplex power outlet. If I had one recommendation it would be to resize the case to be a template for a power outlet cutout.
Thanks again
